Four years ago, I was an old school artist, snubbing computers as an art medium. Yeah, Photoshop was cool, but I much preferred the analog process of painting, melting glass, sculpting clay... That was REAL art, so I thought, and haughtily opined on more than one occasion, to the chagrin and embarrassment of my millennial children.
One fateful and life changing day, DH Greg brought home a tablet for me. It was a "freebie" from the Sprint store, (although we know how that works - the first one is free, as they say...). The first day, I installed Sketchpad Pro, a simple drawing program, on the tablet, and I think this is the first sketch I did. Four years later, not a day goes by when I don't create or edit art on the (newer, bigger, NOT free) tablet. I can't tell you the amount of time it saves and how much it improves the quality of my designs for my clothing - an area I doubt I would have ventured into without digital art. Never. Say. Never.
